New patient information
On the first visit, all clients are be required to fill in a registration form and sign an informed consent form. Following the initial assessment a treatment plan and a clinical working diagnoses will be outlined to you.
During the second visit, clients are re-assessed and treatment will be modified specific for your condition and irritability.
Fees and payment options at our clinic
Glenroy Physiotherapy Centre encourages payment following the consultation. Private health cards should be brought with you so you can claim the rebate on the spot utilizing Hicaps. There may be a small gap you have to pay and this should be in cash/EFTPOS transactions available.
Workcover, TAC and DVA clients will be billed by the practice.
Clients referred with EPC program by their GP should bring their medicare cards. A small fee will have to be paid by the client.
Medicare rebates
Claiming a Medicare rebate for physiotherapy
Clients referred with an EPC (Chronic pain management plan) by their GP should bring their Medicare cards. The rebate will be claimed on the spot once you have paid your invoice in full.
You are entitled to 5x Allied Health consultations per calendar year if your GP has determined that you have a chronic condition.
You will pay the full physiotherapy consultation at the time of your appointment.
Private medical insurance
We are a preferred provider with the major health funds. Utilise our Hicaps system and claim on the spot with a small co-payment
